Posted On Saturday, 13th October 2012

Jordan Ayew scored a brace for OM on Friday

Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew scored twice for Olympique Marseille’s first team in their 3-2 win over the Marseille youth team in a warm-up game on Friday.

The 21-year-old opened the scoring in the 13th minute before doubling it ten minutes before the break.

Jordan raced to pick a through pass inside the box before firing past the goalkeeper.

An unmarked Jordan planted a firm header home beyond the team B goalkeeper to make it 2-0 for Elie Baup’s side.

Jordan was axed from Kwesi Appiah’s 21-man squad to face Malawi in the second-leg of the 2013 AFCON qualifier on Saturday.

Young striker Kevin Osei played part of the game for the Marseille first team squad.

This kumasi coach likes to play Adiyah/Boateng/Afful over Ayew/Astu/Clottey…inlaw connections.wise up*

  2. MR boii says:

We need Memphis Depay, Quincy and Frimpong!!

  3. KT says:

I beg your pardon Ansong, who is Kumasi Coach? He is Ghanaian right? Born and bred in Ghana. Even Germans are begged to play for the team, how much more him. Please, stop this. If he doesn’t succeed, we’ll boot him out.

  4. ken says:

@kt, thanks man, we need more level headed minds like u here.

  5. Whatever says:

scores a brace after all the players hv gone on international duties.

  6. Mochacho-USA says:

Rabiu and Acquah starts for GBS

  7. GFA.. says:

Ghana will peep Malawi by a goal to nothing. God bless Ghana.

  8. Genuwine says:

Ghana Fuo ni nsem keka , the coach did not call adiyah in this match so what are you trying to mean ansong? Affull have been. Nominated by caf as one of the best players in Africa so u want AA to bench him and go in for ur kind of players who warm the bench in Europe . Pure hatred Africa must grow from this oyibo slavery and believe in ourselves that what the white man can do, black man can also do too.let all of us rally behind AA so that he can take us to world cup , we can win glories only with black coach.

  9. Fresher says:

Thumbs up to you KT. This is the reason why I admire you so much, I wish we know each other a little in physical sense than on the net. As for lunatic Ansong, the least said about him the better.

  10. Genuwine says:

Thumps KT, u are right AA is ghanaian and he needs our support that be all.

  11. Dr Who says:

Well done Jordan, but that was against team B.Playing against African teams is not about team B!

  12. lolvfunny says:

  13. game mind says:

the player is good …….he should keep it up his time will come…..

  14. maka says:

is the GFA listening? what happened to jeffery sarpong? had “olele” not gaffed in some games, kwarasey wud still have been waiting. maxweel konadu shud just draft this guy into the ghana under 20 side..that’s all….then his progress shud go on from there into d senior team. we dont have to wait till he’s a star before we call him…that’s what happened in balotelli’s case. call the guy, then just give him an official match for the senior team…even if it is 5mins..and seal the deal…because we lose nothing if we do that!

Call him now and let him start bonding with d others,…that’s what happened with Dede and Jo. Call Memphis and the other Arsenal/Man U guy….WE DON’T LOSE ANYTHING OOO GFA. Dont wait for them to reach top form/peak level and call them….start them with the juniors and seal them by introducing them into senior games…even if for a minute!

Look at IVORY COAST…that’s what they are doing and they have unending flow of strikers/wingers/talent…like Max Gardel, etc….WISE UP o NYANTAKYIE!

Till date, we haven’t heard anything from Frimpong’s switch….! Soon, we ll vent our anger on u guys o! Now that Zambia is 3 points ahead of us in the WC qualifiers, we ll see if we still go on to call mediocre players!

  15. bilvanaustin says:

i think AA has not lent anything from the foriegn coaches. look even though we use not to score when those cosches were there, we played good football with a look of ball possession but now i don’t even remember the last time we played good football. no more possessive football and we don’t even see the best of our players b’cos of the style of play we have adopted to. if we don’t change we will not survive in 2013 african cup
