Ghana forward Jordan Ayew claimed his sixth goal of the season after scoring the leveller for Lorient in their 2-1 home reverse against Nantes in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday night.

The 23-year-old Black Stars attacker pecked the scoring with a patent clinical finish for Lorient in the 74th minute after the visitors had taken a first-half lead through Yohann Bammou.

Jordan maintained his vision to latch onto a pass from a Lorient team-mate and coolly rolled the ball home for his sixth goal of the campaign.

However, Nantes fought to score again to win the tie at the Stade Yves Allainmat - Le Moustoir.

His scoring form - four goals in his last six games, will come a major boost for Ghana who are readying for January's 2015 AFCON tournament.
