Jordan Ayew facing disciplinary charge in France

Posted On Tuesday, 4th December 2012

Jordan Ayew hits Dimitri Payet in the face during the Ligue 1 clash

The French Ligue 1 disciplinary committee has summoned Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew over his action towards Lille pair Dimitri Payet and Lucas Digne.

The 21-year-old clashed with Dimitri Payet and Lucas Digne in a fierce confrontation in first-half stoppage-time at the Stade Velodrome in November.

Jordan together with Dimitri Payet and Lucas Digne will appear before the Ligue de Professionnel disciplinary committee on December 20.

Marseille won the match 1-0 courtesy Jordan Ayew’s 46th minute header.

If found guilty, Jordan could be slapped with a fine or suspension or both.
