Jordan Ayew confident Andre will rediscover top form for Marseille

Jordan Ayew will rediscover his top form

Jordan Ayew is confident his brother Andre will soon find the spark to rekindle his season at Marseille.

The Ghanaian international was one of the standout players for Marseille last season but has not been at his best this term.

Despite scoring some important goals for the French giants this season, his overall performance leaves much to be desired with fears he may not find the spark in time ahead of the 2013 African Cup of Nations.

But his younger brother has no fears that he will rediscover his touch and start to produce the kind of breataking moments that made him fans’ favourite.

“My brother has had a tricky start to the season with his injury. It’s not easy,” Ayew said

“He’s going to need some time to get back to his best, because he was sidelined three, four months, and he’s not going to get back into top form overnight.

He’s on his way back, little by little, and you can see that.”

We all hope he does rediscover his form but if he doesn’t, his presence alone is enough to cast fear into the opposition.

He may not be in top form right now but an out of form Andre is still better than most players on the continent.
