Mensah struggling to get regular games at Evian
By Ameenu Shardow
Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has again been dropped from the Evian squad for Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash against Sochaux.
The 22-year-old is yet to play for the relegation-threatened side since returning from the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Mensah was dropped even though he is currently not on Evian’s injury list.
The ex Udinese stopper’s exclusion is a further blow to his progression as a young and talented defender.
The 2009 U20 World Cup winner’s career has been hampered by several injuries.
He failed to play a single game for Ghana at the Nations Cup in South Africa and also appears to be struggling for regular first team action at his club.
Mensah has only played six games for Evian so far in Ligue 1 and has also made two appearances for the reserve side this season.
Please be responsible journalist at least…J. Mensah came on as a substitute in the second half game between Ghana Vs Mali for the bronze medal in S.Africa.
Mr. Journalist you are a big liar for saying he never played a match in SA . If you care to know he played against Mali. Be responsible.
