John Paintsil wants Hapoel win over Maccabi for his children

Hapoel Tel Aviv  defender John Paintsil wants to celebrate the birthdays of his three kids by helping claim a famous victory against city rivals Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The Ghana international will be in action on Sunday for his Israeli club while his kids; Florencia, Ryanna and John celebrate their 7th,5th and 2nd birthdays in Accra.

Junior John Paitsil turned 2 on Friday with Ryanna and Florencia having theirs on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

There is a planned birthday bash for the three kids at the Black Stars defender’s plush Trasaco Valley residence on Sunday.

The right-back will be missing the birthdays of his kids but wants to atone for his absence by helping his club beat their city rivals in the Israeli super clash.

“I really wished I was there for my lovely kids for their birthdays but sometimes there is nothing you can do about it,” Paintsil told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I however amongst the other surprises I have for them on Sunday, want to help Hapoel win against Maccabi.”

Paintsil’s profound love in not only his kids has seen him establish a foundation to help deprived children in society.
