AmaZulu defender John Arwuah will work under new coach when he returns from injury following the appointment of Steve Barker.

Usuthu have appointed the 46-year-old to stabilize their 2014.15Absa Premiership season.

Barker replaces caretaker coach Wilfred Mugeyi who was put in charge after Craig Rosslee was relieved of his duties as head coach in October this year.

He joins Usuthu having guided University of Pretoria for over six years, in which he helped them gain promotion to the PSL from the national first division in 2011/12 season.

Arwuah is recovering speedily from an injury he suffered few weeks ago and could be involved before the end of the year.

AmaZulu are currently placed 16th on the log having collected just 4 points in 11 matches.
