Under-fire Mighty Jets boss Foster Alhassan has been asked to step aside following a fallout with the club's supporters,Ghanasoccernet.com understands.

The ex-Real Sportive boss has come under intense pressure from fans following their downward spiral in the Ghana Premier League.

They have questioned his technical competence and accused him of losing the dressing room control which has seen their season go from bad to worse.

They lie just three points above the relegation zone after they suffered their 9th defeat of the campaign against Liberty Professional on Sunday and the fans feel he will be unable to safeguard their top-flight status.

Management will hold a meeting on Tuesday to discuss his long-term future with the club.

Jets appointed him after head coach Jonas Amissah quit the club after he was re-assigned to the youth team two matches into the league.
