JE Sarpong guides Dwarfs to earn 1-1 draw at All Stars on debut
Ebusua Dwarfs

Coach JE Sarpong began his Ebusua Dwarfs career with a precious 1-1 draw at Wa All Stars on Wednesday afternoon in a delayed league match.

The relegation-threatened side needed an injury time equalizer to split points at the Wa Park but still remain at the foot of the table.

All Stars took the lead through midfielder Kwaku Baffour Asuandzie in the 88th minute when he connected home from close range.

But their celebrations were transient after Dwarfs scored from a free-kick two minutes later by defender Faisal Gambo.

Goalkeeper Richard Ofori mis-timed the delivery inside the box and with a lot of Dwarfs players area, they knocked  but All Stars cleared out.

It fell to Gambo who followed up with a strike for the leveller.

In another outstanding game, Bechem United and Berekum Chelsea played out a goalless draw in Bechem.
