Italy are keen on pursuing a full international debut with Ghanaian-born Italian attacker Kingsley Boateng as they have named the attacking prodigy again in their U20 squad once again.

It was expected that Ghana's official declaration of interest could have halted the Italians desire to using the player at youth level but the Southern Europeans appear in no mood to stop.

Despite Ghana making their intentions clear and the Ghana Football Association delegating an official to meet with the AC Milan player in 2012, Italy side are still bent on using Boateng.

L 'Azzurrin head coach Alberigo Evani has included the AC Milan youngster who is on loan at Catania in his squad for an upcoming friendly against Germany and England during the Christmas holidays.

Though Boateng has not officially made a statement about his international future since meeting with a Ghana official, he is believed to have tilted towards representing his country of birth.

Italy managed to convince Mario Balotelli who was born to Ghanaian parents in the Southern European country.

Though Kingsley remains the only player in the limelight, Italy are also quietly luring another Ghanaian talent - Emmanuel Gyasi to consider playing for them as they are close to securing an Italian passport for him.

Boateng is spending the season as a loanee with Catania to gain enough first team experience but he has made under five appearances in the Italian top-flight under the current season.
