Three Italian clubs- Parma, Samdoria and Catania have joined the race to sign Ghanaian wonder-kid Joseph Alfred Duncan, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 19-year-old, who is on loan at Livorno, has enjoyed a tremendous season with the Seria B side this term.

The three Italian clubs have expressed interest in the youngster and could swoop for him during the summer.

The serious contender among the three is Sampdoria who were given the chance to sign the player before he was loaned out to Livorno.

Inter Milan, which owns the economic right of the impressive attacker may however not sell the player outright.

Duncan has been named in Ghana’s preliminary 41 -man squad to start preparations for the 2013 FIFA World Youth Championship in Turkey.
