Italian side Sassuolo will make an official approach to sign Genoa midfielder Isaac Coffie on a permanent basis on Thursday, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Genoa are willing to put the tag on the Ghanaian enforcer who impressed during a loan spell at Sassoulo between the 2011-2012 season.

The former Chievo midfielder is back on the radar of Sassuolo who have expressed interest to sign him permanently.

Sky sports Italia reported on Wednesday that Sassuolo will slap in an official bid for Coffie’s services on Thursday.

The Ghanaian international joined Genoa in 2009 but has played on loan at Torino, Piacenza and Chievo Verona.
