Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah has praised Sporting Director Ralf Rangnick and says he played a crucial role in his decision to join Red Bulls Salzburg.

Vorsah, 24, signed a three-year deal with the Austrian giants after a six-year stint with German side TSG Hoffenheim.

The Black Stars strong centre back played under Rangnick at Hoffenheim and is believed to have played a key role in bringing him to the Austrian side.

“I am very glad to be united with Ralf once again, he is very good and I always want to work with him, hopefully I will do my best to help my new team win more trophies,” Vorsah told the  club's official website.

He scored four times in 104 appearances for Hoffenheim.
