Isaac Cofie steers Chievo win in Serie A

Cofie powers home a cracking drive

Ghana youth midfielder Isaac Cofie scored the solitary goal of the game for Chievo Verona who recorded a slim 1-0 win over Atalanta in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.

The 21-year-old former Genoa starlet scored the only goal of the game for the Flying Donkeys on the 37th minute mark.

France international Cyril Thereau scrolled through the Atalanta defence to release Cofie who hit a cracking low drive to book Chievo’s fourth win in five games.

This is Cofie’s first goal in the Italian top flight.
