Asante Kotoko have new injury concerns as lead-striker Isaac Boakye was forced out of their friendly against Tema Youth on Wednesday afternoon.
The 32-year-old former VfL Wolfsburg hit-man was replaced in the 75th minute by midfielder Eric Donkor after picking a knock during their 1-1 stalemate at the Tema Park.
Boakye is among top four players who have joined the Porcupine Warriors for their continental campaign but he is yet to discover his shine in the mid-season break.
Former Ghana international midfielder Ekow Benson scored first for Youth from the spot before substitute Aminu Mohammed levelled things up for Didi Dramani's men.
