Interim Asante Kotoko chief Opoku Nti has denied lashing at the club’s board over their lack of support.

Reports sufficed in the local media on Monday suggesting for club legend was getting increasingly frustrated over the lack of adequate support from the board.

These reported emerged following Kotoko’s first defeat of the season at the hands of Bechem United on Sunday.

But Opoku Nti is adamant he has made no such comments over his future as the club’s interim chief.

“I don’t know where these reports are coming from because I have not granted any interview over this topic,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I believe this reports are ill-timed and only a means to destroy the wonderful working relationship I have with the board.

“They are absolutely false as I am only focussed on making the club better and greater. That is the focus and nothing else.”

Nti’s three-month reign as the club’s acting Managing Director will expire in a few weeks time.
