Inter coach ready to hold onto youngster Alfred Duncan

Posted On Tuesday, 1st January 2013

Inter Milan coach Stramaccioni wants to keep Joseph Duncan

Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has ruled out a loan move for Ghanaian youngster Joseph Alfred Duncan in January.

Duncan has been linked with a host of Italian Serie B sides after showing a lot of promise for the San Siro outfit.

But Stramaccioni believes in his young talent, who can play as an offensive and a defensive midfielder.

The combative midfielder made three appearances for the Nerrazuri before the winter break.

His reputation soared after making his full debut in the Coppa Italia win over Hellas Verona at the San Siro this month.

Duncan was a member of the Inter youth team which won the maiden edition of NextGen tournament- the youth version of the UEFA Champions League.

He’s a future prospect, a loan move will certainly make him a much better player rather than warming the bench @ Inter.

  2. Stop using cambiaso he’s fading out letting our midfield move very slowly use him as a substitute and start fielding Duncan to help him gain confident in the serie A.We all saw how he performed very well in the coppa italia helping both the defence and the attack. And Strama why didn’t you use him the next game after the coppa italia,i did not even see him at the bench.Forza inter.
