Inter Allies set to clinch Premier League promotional play-offs ticket

Inter Allies FC inched closer to qualification to the promotional play-offs of the Division One League after Wednesday's 1-0 win over Istanbul.

The victory ensured they stayed on top with a four point difference in Zone 3A with two matches to the end of the season.

Kenneth Koomson's side can seal one of the two tickets to play in the Middle League if they beat bottom-club D'International on Sunday.

Inter Allies have a young squad with an average age of 20 and has promised many Ghana youth internationals including David Addy (Guimaraes), Kwame Karikari (AIK Stockholm), Daniel Amartey (Djurgarden) and Gershong Koffie (Vancouver White Caps).

The club have in recent times sold youngsters Laud Ofosuhene (Rio Ave), Clifford Aboagye (Udinese) and Fatau Mohammed (Vimmerby) and Aminu Abdallah (Vancouver Whitecaps).

In the Group, former Premiership giants Great Olympics beat Rehoboth 1-0 to move to third place.
