Inter Allies President lays claim to Premier League title challenge

President of Inter Allies Omar Eleter believes the side is ripe for the Ghana Premier League title after their explosive finish to survival last season.

The Tema-based club stormed from the bottom of the Premier League table where they looked destined to go down to finish impressively 6th last term.

Their strong finish last season gives them believe they can go all the way to the title once they are able to get a good start.

The club is however without coach Herbert Addo who masterminded their second round resurgence as he takes over Hearts of Oak.

But Inter Allies President remains defiant of his side’s chances in the upcoming season.

“I was very happy with the performance of the team last season, coming from the bottom of the league to finish sixth,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“That gives me a strong believe that once we are able to start well and sustain our performance, we will definitely be champions.”

Inter Allies have appointed ex Ghana international Yaw Acheampong to steer the team to a successful campaign.
