Inter Allies knockout former MTN FA Cup champions Nania FC

Inter Allies staged a strong second half comeback to eliminate 2011 champions Nania FC in the MTN Ghana FA Cup with a 2-1 win at the Tema Sports Stadium in a round of 32 contest.

Allies had a poor first half but three substitutions done by head coach Herbert Addo proved to be the turning point.

Nania shot into the lead in the first half but Allies got the equalizer and match winner all from new signing Sadat Karim.

Elsewhere, former champions New Edubiase United recorded a 3-2 win over Real Tarkwa United at the T&A Park.

AshantiGold, 2012 losing finalists, romped to a 3-1 win over Danbort at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.
