Injury worries grow for Michael Essien as Real Madrid star misses training

Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien is have growing injury problems at Real Madrid as he spent Friday on the treatment table and unable to train normally with the rest of the team.

The midfielder has now been training alone for various days now due to different fitness problems.

Essien, who in recent weeks has had to make an extra effort and play out of position due to injuries at the club – first to full-backs and then to Xabi Alonso and Khedira in the midfield – is still unable to train normally.

After playing, the Ghanaian needs to recover from a series of knocks and has to follow a specific training plan in order to be available for the club’s next match. He’s been like that for a while. That said, he’s always been available to Mourinho whenever critical injuries have hit the squad.

But Essien isn’t the only player not training normally. Kaká is in the same boat. He didn’t even take to the pitch in training and just worked on recovering after playing for Brazil against Colombia.

Following the injury crisis that Real Madrid suffered after the last international break, the best news for Mourinho is that all of his internationals have returned fully fit to take part in Madrid’s next games, specifically, the big one against City in Manchester, where Real hope to seal qualification for the next round of the Champions League.

Essien please attend to your father and forgive him in your heart. Don’t be misled by the advices of your mum to pay your dad back for fatherly neglect. It does not come with blessing. Spiritually you must be protected. God, please perfect the life and career of mike. Listen to Ephesians 6 vs 1-3 “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise, THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU and that you may live long on the earth”. Think twice oboy. All the best.

Essien is not injured. Goto goal and µ read what their assistant coach said about Essien. They are just resting him.

To back what I said – this is what Madrid Assistant coach Karanka said about Essien – “The progression of the team can be seen.
We are continuing to progress thanks to the
    new signings.
“Michael Essien has played in every position
and done really well. Now he should be
    rested for a bit.”

  6. fred says:

Soccernet always publishing false news. Kaka trained with the squard yesterday but you are saying otherwise. For Essien, they decided to rest him so he is working at the gym rather than what you are saying. Where do you get your stories from? Check the madrid website for proper info.

    • Fred Bortey Kyeremeh says:

This isn’t a false story…it is rather a late reportage…They should have given credit to the original writer of the story. The original story was done by MARCA,a very credible brigadier in Spain, which is pro-Madrid.Soccernet have rather reported it late hence the bashing from readers on this platform. Readers can confirm the original story at the English site of http://www.marca.com/en/ . For all Real Madrid stories, the credible site apart from Real’s official site is
      Essuen

I DON’T KNOW IF THESE HAMI NOKO JOURNALIST REALLY GET ALL THEIR FACTS BEFORE COMING TO MISINFORM SOME PEOPLE HERE..
