The agent of Augustine Okrah has explained that injuries hampered the player’s growth at Swedish side BK Hacken and not because he lacked quality.

The reigning Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player and Goal king could not break into the first team of the Swedish top-flight.

But Oliver Arthur has jumped to the defence of the talented forward by saying he could not make a huge impact not because he lacked quality.

''Okrah arrived in Sweden short of match fitness in August 2014 at the peak of the Swedish season because Ghana's league ended two months prior,” the FIFA agent told GHANASoccernet.com

“Then when he hit form playing for the reserves, he got injured in his debut competitive fixture.''

Arthur further explained that the playmaker recovered from that groin injury only last week and will rest and start training again in the second week of November.

He admitted to reports that Okrah will not be joining Hacken on permanent saying,

He added that: ''Okrah will join a new club in the next transfer window since we mutually agreed not to extend the Swedish loan deal. He is a Bechem United player and he shall remain so until we conclude one of the series of transfer negotiations ongoing on him.''
