Amidaus Professionals forward Yahaya Mohammed hopes for an injury-free second half of the season in order to make a return to the Black Stars.

The 25-year-old had to withdraw from the Ghana squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations due to injury.

The on-loan player from Asante Kotoko is now counting on his continued form and fitness to make an immediate return to the Black Stars.

“I only pray I no longer sustain any more injuries until the end of the season,” he told Fox FM.

“I was well on my way to the AFCON until unfortunately getting injured.

“So I really hope an injury free season from now on until such time I make a return to the national team.”

Mohammed is the current leading scorer in the Ghanaian top flight with 11 goals after 16 rounds of matches.
