Impressive lineup expected for maiden National Player Awards
A countless array of superstars are expected at the maiden edition of the Shields National Player Awards on Friday.
The event which is being organized by Proton Sports Service and supported by the Ghana FA and the Retired National Footballers Association of Ghana (RENFAG) is aimed at awarding players that have donned the national team jersey with distinction in the various ranks and divisions.
Amongst the host of distinguished personalities expected to grace the occasion which will be held at the State Banquet Hall included former French captain Marseille Desailly, a host of Black Stars players (both current and old generation), Ghana FA big wigs with President Kwasi Nyantakyi leading the charge, beauty queens of almost all the tertiary institutions in Ghana and distinguished members fom corporate Ghana.
The event will offer a rare opportunity for the younger generation to interact and get exclusive history lessons from the older generation while they are also treated to the modern trends by the young.
The highlight of the event will however be the awarding of various personalities and groups for their selfless contribution to the development of Ghana football.
