WAFA coach John Killa is delighted with how his side played with maturity to dispatch Inter Allies for their season’s first away win.

The Academicians adopted a swampy approach and neutralized their hosts Inter Allies with a 1-0 win.

It was the first win on the road in seven attempts ( three draws, three defeats) and that catapulted them to second on the league table ahead of Sunday’s round of matches.

Killa raved about the conviction with which his dispatched Allies to end their 14-match unbeaten home record.

“I told you we came here for the win and when you win your are very happy. We worked very hard and I am double happy for our first away match of the season,” the Dutchman said.

WAFA are one of the three promoted sides to the Ghana Premier League this season.
