Prophet Kweku Mensah Otabil claims he frequently renders spiritual services for Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi for which he was rewarded with the construction of a church.

Prophet Otabil had made an outrageous demand of $20,000 from the GFA boss to enable him pray and avert what he claims will be unfavourable results awaiting the Black Stars at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The Pokuase-based Prophet popularly referred to as ‘Great Akwankyere Doctor’ resorted to blackmail once his demands were rejected by the Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Prophet Otabil of the Christ True Word of God in a fresh twist now claims he has been a frequent spiritual agent for Kwesi Nyantakyi who also serves on the powerful CAF Executive Committee for which he was rewarded with the construction of his church.

“I spoke to my father [Kwesi Nyantakyi] about the premonition I had about the Black Stars and what needed to be done,” he told Accra-based Hot FM.

“This is not the first time I have dealt with my father. I rendered similar services for him in the past after which he came to construct a church for me here in Pokuase.

“He however told me this time around that my services will no longer be required as someone else is being tasked to do the work.”

Reports emerged that an arrest warrant has been issued for the apprehension of Prophet Otabil over his alleged criminal intention to extort money from the Ghana FA boss.

But the self acclaimed ‘Man of God’ insists he is least bothered by these reports.

“What, police want to arrest me?” he added.

“Ghana Police? I am not bothered at all.”
