Andre Ayew scored an awesome finish for Olympique Marseille in their 4-0 win at Lens while Jordan Ayew increased his goal contribution to 14 in 23 Ligue 1 games after scoring against PSG. 

Lloyd Sam was also on target for New York Red Bulls as well as Sadat Bukari for Al Shoalah in the Saudi Pro League.

ENGLAND

Jeffrey Schlupp scored an own-goal for Tottenham Hotspur when they defeated Leicester City 4-3 on Saturday.

Neither Kwesi Appiah nor Hiram Boateng was in the Crystal Palace side that narrowly edged Stoke City 2-1.

Christian Atsu was not in the Everton team that beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1.

In the Championship, winger Albert Adomah conceded a penalty while in action for Middlesbrough who suffered a 3-0 loss at leaders Bournemouth.

Elsewhere Cardiff City posted a 2-0 win over Birmingham City. There was no Koby Arthur in the Birmingham City squad for the game.

Former Arsenal youth team player Zak Ansah could not make the Charlton Athletic squad for their 3-2 win over Reading.

Norwich City won 3-1 against Nottingham Forest. Ghanaian-born Norwegian international Alexander Tettey played the entire minutes of the game for City but Belgian-born Ghanaian Vadis Odji-Dja Ofoe was unused by them.

FRANCE

Andre Ayew scored the third goal for Marseille in their 4-0 away win over Lens in the Ligue 1.

Jordan Ayew scored his ninth goal of the season and Lorient's consolation goal in their 3-1 loss at Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue 1 on Friday. Jordan has now contributed to 14 goals in 23 league games this season.

Caen and Metz split points in a 0-0 draw. French-born Ghanaian defender Dennis Appiah was a full-timer for Caen but striker Kwame Nsor could not make the Metz squad for the game.

Jonathan Mensah lost his place in the Evian TG starting line-up as he was benched in their 1-0 win over Montpellier on Saturday.

In the Ligue de National, former Ghana U17 captain Charles Boateng was in action for Avranches who were held to a 0-0 draw bu CA Bastia.

GERMAN

Youngster Gideon Jong could not make the Hamburg SV squad for their 1-0 home loss against Hertha Berlin.

American-born Ghanaian Joe Gyau could not make the Dortmund squad for their 3-2 away win over ten-man Hannover 96.

Kevin-Prince Boateng came off Schalke bench in the 42nd minute to play in their 1-0 loss against Bayer Leverkusen who won the game thanks to a solitary strike from Karim Bellarabi.

1860 Munich and Aalen split points after drawing 1-1 at the Allianz-Arena. Former Schalke 04 and Black Stars midfielder Anthony Annan was unused by Munich but full-back Philemon Ofosu-Aryeh was in action for Aalen.

In the Liga 3, neither Evans Owusu Nyarko nor Joe Gyau played for Dortmund II who suffered a 4-1 loss against Duisburg.

German-born Ghanaian midfielder Reagy Ofosu was in action for Chemnitzer FC who managed to hold Energie Cottbus to a 2-2 draw.

Midfielder Kwame Kusi was booked in the 16th minute and played full throttle for Fortuna Koln  who suffered a 4-0 loss at the hands of Hansa Rostock.

Ghanaian-born Canadian international Randy Edwini-Bonsu was in action for Stuttgarter Kickers who Unterhaching 2-1.

NETHERLANDS

NAC Breda shocked themselves with a 4-3 away triumph over FC Utrecht. Youngster Rodney Antwi could not make the Utrecht squad for the game but Manchester City loanee Divine Naah and Jeffrey Sarpong both started the game for Breda. Naah lasted the entire minutes but Sarpong was replaced in the 81st minute.

Derrick Luckassen sat on the AZ Alkmaar bench in their 2-1 win over Cambuur.

FC Twente managed to hold FC Groningen to a 2-2 draw. Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Johan Kappelhof started the game for Groningen while midfielder Shadrach Eghan came off the bench to play for Twente in the second-half.

Elvis Manu was a full time for Feyenoord in their 2-1 win over PSV Eindhoven. Dutch-born Ghanaian Memphis Depay scored the consolation goal for PSV.

Elsewhere in the second-tier league, Dutch-born lethal forward Johnathan Opoku fired blank in Oss FC's 1-0 away loss against FC Twente II. There was no Mustapha Yahaya on the Twente II team.

Belgian-born defender Marvin Peersmann was not in the Dordrecht side that lost 2-1 against Willem II.

German-born Marcel Appiah sat on the bench for NEC Nijmegen in their 4-1 away win over Maastricht.

De Graafschap posted a 3-0 win over Jong Ajax. Trio Kenny Tete, Leeroy Owusu and Elton Acolatse all played for Jong Ajax.

SPAIN

Athletic Bilbao picked the maximum points with a 2-1 win over ten-man Almeria. Spanish-born Ghanaian William Dannis Inaki played 78 minutes for Athletic Bilbao while Atletico Madrid loanee Thomas Partey played the full 90 minutes for Almeria.

Derek Boateng warmed the Eibar bench in their 0-0 draw with Granada CF.

Youngster Fatau Mohammed was not in the Rayo Vallecano team when they beat Malaga 1-0.

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba could not make the Elche FC squad for their 4-0 loss against Valencia.

In the Segunda Division, Kassim Nuhu was not in the Real Mallorca when they lost 1-0 against Llagostera.

Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Braimah manned the posted for UD Mirandes when they held Albacete to a 0-0 draw.

AUSTRIA

In the Erste Liga, midfielder David Atanga played 88 minutes for Liefering when they defeated LASK Linz 3-1. Duo Frederick Adjei and Lawrence Ati-Zigi were unused by Liefering.

In other games, German-born Ghanaian defender Davidson Drobo-Ampem could not get into Wacker Innsbruck team when they held St Polten to a 0-0 draw.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Derrick Mensah was replaced after 35 minutes for Banik Ostrava who lost 1-0 against Mlada Boleslav on Friday. His Ghanaian compatriot Francis Narh was unused by Ostrava.

Kevin Luckassen sat on the Slovan Liberec bench in their 2-0 loss at Viktoria Plzen. But midfielder Isaac Sackey was not in the squad for the game.

DENMARK

Danish-born midfielder Kevin Nicolas Mensah played 54 minutes for Esbjerg when they beat OB Odense 2-0.

Defender Francis Dickoh was not in the FC Midtjylland when they beat Hobro 3-0.

Daniel Amartey and Danny Amankwaa both played for FC Copenhagen who drew 1-1 with Randers FC.

In the second-tier league defender Jeff Mensah played for Skive who drew 2-2 with Aarhus.

ITALY

AC Milan expressed their superiority over Cagliari with a 3-1 victory at the San Siro. While Sulley Muntari warmed the Milan bench, Michael Essien came off the bench to play the last 3 minutes for Milan. Youngster Godfred Donsah recovered from injury to play for Cagliari.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu missed Udinese 2-2 draw with Fiorentina due to suspension.

Kwadwo Asamoah watched from the stands at the Juventus Arena as the Old Ladies defeated Genoa 1-0.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was unused by Atalanta who managed to hold Napoli to a 1-1 draw.

Sampdoria picked a 1-0 win over Inter Milan. Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah played 52 minutes while Alfred Duncan was brought on in the last 10 minutes of regulation time.

Chievo Verona posted a 1-0 win over Palermo. Swedish-born Ghanaian Robin Quaison played 54 minutes for Palermo but Isaac Cofie was unused by Chievo.

AC Milan loanee Kingsley Boateng played 63 minutes for Bari in their 0-0 stalemate with Pescara.

Former Inter Milan Primavera midfieldr Isaac Ntow was not in the Brescia team that lost 2-1 against ten-man Crotone.

Moses Odjer was not in the Catania team that lost 2-0 against against Entella.

Masahudu Alhassan played full throttle for Latina who lost 2-1 against Spezia.

Modena slipped to a 2-1 home loss against Vicenza. There was no Amidu Salifu in the Modena team but Maxwell Acosty came off the bench to play the last 3 minutes for Modena. Genoa loanee Moro Al-Hassan sat on the Vicenza bench.

PORTUGAL

Former Ghana U17 starlet Emmanuel Oti Essigba could not gain match fitness to break into the Sporting Braga team for their 0-0 home draw with Academica Coinbra.

Alhassan Wakaso was in action for Rio Ave who beat Benfica 2-1. Former Ghana U17 midfielder Emmanuel Boateng was unused by Rio Ave.

Bernard Mensah played 72 minutes for for Vitoria Guimaraes who suffered a 4-1 loss at Sporting Lisbon.

In the second-tier league, defender Agbenyenu Lumor played for Porto B when they drew 2-2 with Chaves.

RUSSIA

Midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong played 69 minutes for FK Ufa who lost 2-0 against FK Krasnodar.

Black Stars midfielder Rabiu Mohammed was subbed on the 90th minute by Kuban Krasnodar who beat Terek Grozni 1-0.

TURKEY

Injured Jerry Akaminko did not play for Eskisehirspor when they lost 4-1 against Balikesirspor.

FRIENDLIES

Ghana attacker Mahatma Otoo played the full 90 minutes for Sogndal IF who lost 3-0 against FK Brann.

Mohammed Abu and Bismark Adjei-Boateng were both in action for Stromsgodset who defeated Valerenga 3-0 in a pre-season game.

BELGIUM

Prince Asubonteng failed to score for Dessel Sport when they lost 3-2 against ASV Geel.

Samuel Asamoah played the first 45 minutes for AS Eupen who lost 3-2 against Heist.

William Owusu was in action for FC Antwerp who drew 1-1 with KSV Roeselare.

SAUDI ARABIA

Former Heart of Lions attacker Isaac Osae assisted two goals for Al Orubah who lost 3-2 against Hajer. Midfielder Moussa Narry also played full throttle for Orubah.

Sadat Bukari scored a 74th minute penalty for Al Shoalah who beat Al Taawon 4-3. Samuel Owusu did not play for Shoalah.

Winful Cobbinah played 88 minutes for Najran who beat Al Faisaly 1-0.

SOUTH AFRICA

Kwadwo Poku sat on the bench for New York City when they drew 0-0 with Colorado Rapids in the Major Soccer League.

Midfielder Gershon Kwoffie played full throttle for Vancouver Whitecaps when they won 1-0 against Orlando City.

Adam Kwarasey manned the post for Portland Timbers who drew 0-0 with Sporting Kansas. Abdul Fataw Safiu was not in the Timbers squad for the game.

American-born Gyasi Zardes was in full time action for LA Galaxy when they drew 1-1 with Houston Dynamo.

Lloyd Sam scored in the 71st minute for New York RedBulls who beat DC United 2-0. Kofi Opare was unused by DC United.

David Accam broke into the Chicago Fire squad but he started from the bench in their 2-1 loss against San Jose Earthquakes. He came off the bench in the 46th minute to play for Fire.

Ghana defender Razak Nuhu was booked in the 48th minute and played the entire 90 minutes for Anorthosis Famagusta who lost 3-1 against Omonia Nicosia.

Striker Patrick Twumasi was in action for Astana FC when they drew 1-1 with Atyrau.

ROMANIA

Midfielder Seidu Yahaya played the entire match for Astra who drew 0-0 with CS U. Craiova.

Dutch-born Ghanaian Fred Benson came off the bench in the second half to play for Rapid Bucuresti who beat Otelul 2-0.

Sulley Muniru featured for CFR Cluj when they lost 1-0 against Petrolul.

SCOTLAND

Abdul Osman played for Partick Thistle when they beat Inverness Calidolian.

SERBIA

Ghanaian pair Moro Abubakar and Rashid Obuobi played for Donji Srem who lost 2-0 against Rad Beograd.

Obeng Regan played for ?ukari?ki who held Partizan Belgrade to a 2-2 draw.

SWEDEN

BK Hacken got eliminated from the Swedish Cup at the semi-finals after succumbing to a 3-1 defeat to Gotenborg. Mohammed Abubakari was red-carded while Nasiru Mohammed played the full game for BK Hacken.

SWITZERLAND

FC Sion posted a smooth 3-0 win over FC Thun. Ghana attacker Ebenezer Assifuah missed the game with injury but Ishmael Yartey was not in the squad for the game.

Samuel Afum played the last 7 minutes for Young Boys when they beat ten-man Zurich 3-0.

TURKEY

Striker Abdul Majeed Waris could not make the Trabzonspor squad for their 2-0 home win over Akhisar Genclik Spor.

Former Real Madrid Castilla player Daniel Opare missed Besiktas' 1-0 reverse against Fenerbahce due to injury.
