New Edubiase are out of the MTN FA Cup competition
Defending MTN Ghana FA Cup champions New Edubiase United exited the competition on Sunday after losing 1-0 to Starke FC in their outstanding round of 64 match.
The Bekwai-based side conceded an early goal in the 15th minute in Abura-Dunkwa.
Starke FC could have doubled the lead but missed a penalty kick in the second half.
Edubiase won the title last year after beating AshantiGold 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
They got the ticket to play in the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup but were eliminated last week in the preliminary round to Congolese side Diables Noirs.
Edubiase lost the return leg 1-0 in Brazzaville to tie 1-1 on aggregate but exited the competition losing 5-4 on penalties .
