Herbert Addo has warned Hearts fans not to expect any ‘miracle’ signings ahead of the start of the new season.

The experienced tactician is expected to hold his first training session with the side on Tuesday after signing a two-year contract with them.

Hearts have been linked with a string of players in the Africa country, from Medeama’s duo Foli Adade and Hans Kwoffie, Aduana Stars defender Godfred Saka to New Edubiase playmaker Asiedu Atobrah.

The former Inter Allies coach, however insists his main concern is about maintaining performance levels of the current crop of players.

“There are players who have played their heart out over the period. Those are the ones we must be looking at,” he said

“What I worry about is to get them to play at their full potential.

“If we perform at full potential we cannot expect any miracle from outside, we want to make things happen inside.”

Hearts are keen to rediscover their form after playing catch-ups to Kotoko over the past three seasons.

Hearts last won the League title in 2008.
