Heracles Almelo are waiting to find out the extent of injury suffered by their Ghanaian striker Mathew Amoah.
Amoah, 32, suffered the injury during Heracles League win at SC Heerenveen last Sunday.
The Ghanaian international was replaced ten minutes before half time with a hamstring problem.
Further diagnosis will be done on the player before the club can confirm the number of days or weeks he will spend on the sidelines.
“The definitive diagnosis has yet to be made. That will prove how long Amoah will be missing,” coach Jan de Jong said
“We just have to wait. Based on the initial reports it looks good. But I’m not a doctor, so we’re still waiting for the final result.
Amoah was rescued by Heracles after he was refused an offer at NAC Breda.
