Hearts of Oak will comprehensively beat Asante Kotoko on Saturday if the pre-match press conference is anything to go by.

The two most glamorous clubs in Ghana go head-to-head in the return encounter of the innovative pre-season friendly dubbed ‘Super 2’ which is organized by a non-governmental agency Kome To My Aid aimed at raising funds for charity.

However while representatives of Hearts of Oak touted the readiness of its players to deliver a resounding victory on Saturday, their opponent’s rather gave a subdued speech which sought to downplay the end result.

“We are going to sell a good game to the fans and I can assure you the players are ready for the big game against our friends from Kumasi,” Hearts rep, Neil Armstrong told the press conference.

“Kotoko is a more than worthy opponent but on Saturday I believe our players will do us all proud by beating them comprehensively.”

Jerry Asare, a Kotoko director responded: “This is a very good exercise ahead of the league and therefore a lot of premium would not be placed on the result,”

“Both clubs say they are doing rebuilding, and therefore at the end of the day it is peace we all want to achieve while raising funds for a good course.”

The two sides go into Saturday’s game haven played out a highly entertaining one all draw in Kumasi a week ago.
