Hearts of Oakââ¬â¢s team manager Sabahn Quaye has dismissed claims the technical team is on a collision course with chairman Togbe Afede XIV over the transfer-listed players.
Striker Ezekiel Tetteh claims the clubââ¬â¢s top hierarchy wants him to stay despite being told to look for a new club by new coach Herbert Addo.
Tetteh who was signed six months ago was one of the major casualties of the squad trimming exercise conducted by coach Herbert Addo.
The ex Okwawu United hitman however says he is wanted at the club by officials â⬓ suggesting contrasting positions between the coach and the clubââ¬â¢s administrative arm headed by Togbe Afede XIV.
But the sideââ¬â¢s team manager Sabahn Quaye insists the clubââ¬â¢s top hierarchy are in tune with all decisions taken by the technical team.
ââ¬ÅFirst and foremost I donââ¬â¢t think Ezekiel [Tetteh] is being backed by any official including Togbe [Afede XIV] to overrule decisions of the technical team,â⬠he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅIn fact, I personally had a chat with Togbe over such acts prior to my return to the team.
ââ¬ÅThere is no way Togbe will force his will on the technical team because such a thing doesnââ¬â¢t even exist in the first place.
ââ¬ÅNone of the clubââ¬â¢s officials also will do such a thing. We are here to do a professional work and so far we are happy with the relationship so far.
ââ¬ÅIt is true we transfer-listed Ezekiel Tetteh upon notice he was carrying an injury which he denied.
ââ¬ÅBut then we recalled him to do further assessment before a final decision is taken on him but not that someone somewhere is imposing him on us.ââ¬
