Hearts target Emmanuel Akuoku rules out Aduana Stars exit
Emmanuel Akuoku will stay with Aduana Stars next season

Aduana Stars defender Emmanuel Akuoku says he’s staying put with the club despite growing reports over his future.

The centre-back is believed to be interesting several clubs in Ghana following a fine performance for the Dorma-based side where he scored seven goals in 29 appearances.

The 26-year-old has emerged a target for Ghanaian giants Hearts and Kotoko who are believed to be jostling for his signature.

However the guardsman says he has no intentions of leaving Aduana this season.

‘’For now I will play for Aduana in the upcoming season. There isn’t any truth in those stories. As we know if you (team) want a player, you have to write to the player’s team,” he is quoted by Ghanasportsonline.com

“But my management hasn’t informed me of any offer from any club.”

He has a year left on his existing contract with the 2009 Ghanaian League champions.

Aduana will be keen to tie him to a new deal after the escaped relegation by a whisker.
