Hearts of Oak are likely to be without versatile midfielder Stephen Tetteh for the start of the season as the youngster has suffered a hamstring injury.
The 22-year-old limped off at the Accra Sports Stadium during Saturday’s 6-0 win over third-tier side Globe Academy in pre-season warm-up game.
Hearts doctors conducted initial test on Sunday morning and the former Tema Youth is penciled down to undergo further scan at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
He is likely to miss Hearts’ trip to New Edubiase United on the Ghana Premier League’s opening day on September 15.
Tetteh joined Hearts at the second-half of last season and proved to be hugely influential on their season.
