Hearts of Oak are closing watching the situation of midfielder Mumin Abubakar who could be axed by South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.

The former Black Satellites captain joined Sundowns from New Edubiase United last June but failed to record a single first team appearance at the club.

Though the 19-year-old with Cercle Brugge, Hearts officials are keen watching to snap up the talented midfielder if he fails to win himself a deal with Pro League side.

Mumin was on the cards two seasons ago but Edubiase opted to sell to Sundowns who tabled a better offer.
