Hearts of Oak striker Mahatma Otoo has lauded the club’s recruitment drive in the secondary transfer period.
The Phobians have hit a rich vein of form at the start of the second half of the season.
Hearts were extremely poor in the first round – getting themselves into the relegation zone.
Many blamed the club’s poor signings during the off-season for Hearts’ abysmal performance in the first half of the campaign.
The club again went into the transfer market to sign players to aid their campaign – a bargain which seems to be paying off already.
The team’s record in the past three matches stood two wins and a draw with no defeat – catapulting the side to 12th in the Ghanaian top flight.
And striker Otoo puts the side’s resurgence to the quality signing made before the start of the second round.
“I want to thank the recruitment committee for doing a great job during the transfer period,” he said.
“They brought in players who have so far been able to fill the loopholes in the team and you can see we are now doing well.”
Hey Mahtma, stop jawing because your Hearts hasn’t played and beaten any quality team yet. You are going to zip it when you leave that fortess of yours and knock heads with real teams.Mark my words, your phobians are not going anywhere!
