Striker Gilbert Fiamenyo says personal glory must take a back seat for Hearts to triumph on all fronts this season.

The 23-year-old has raked in eight goals in 11 matches in the Ghanaian top-flight and appears to have hit his top form.

The former Heart of Lions man scored a sensational brace to hand the capital-based side a 2-0 win over relegation-threatened BA United in their last Ghana Premier League game last Sunday.

Hearts are in contention to challenge for titles on all fronts including the Ghana Premier League, CAF Confederation Cup, FA Cup and the Elite Cup.

But Fiamenyo says he is more concerned about the collective target of the team than his personal glory.

“It’s not about me at all. We want to win everything this season and that’s for me is my focus,” he said

“Winning the goal king award will be an added bonus. But the collective good of the team is of paramount interest to me.

“We are beginning to get result and we hope to build on that.”

Hearts travel to Senegal to face Olympique Ngor in the return fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup, holding a slender 2-1 advantage.
