Hearts warming up as WO Tandoh looks on
By Patrick Akoto
Two technical staff members of Hearts were told to step aside ahead of their Premier League clash at Berekum Chelsea, 90 Minutes newspaper has reported.
Long-standing physical instructor W.O Tandoh and a member of the technical bench Jacob Nettey did not travel with the team that lost 2-0 to the 2010 Ghanaian League champions in Berekum over weekend.
Though details remains sketchy, the newspaper claims an over-growing power-play between members of the technical staff has accounted for their abysmal performance in the top flight.
The Phobians recorded their third straight defeat of the season when Eric Bekoe and Latif Salifu’s goals condemned them at the Golden City Park.
Leading Hearts supporters chief Haruna Futah has launched a vigorous campaign to have Akunnor sacked from the club for failing to show leadership in the dressing room.
