Hearts rubbish Sammy Adjei transfer-list reports

Hearts have rubbished reports claiming goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has been transfer-listed.

Adjei, 32, has falling down the perking order with reports in the local media  on Thursday suggesting the 32-year was deemed surplus to requirement.

But the club’s goalkeepers’ trainer Abubakar Damba has moved swiftly to debunk the reports insisting the former Ashdod last line of defense remains an intergral part of the team’s rebuilding exercise.

“This is news to me because Sammy Adjei has not been put on the transfer-list. Where is this news coming? I think people should put a stop to such reports,” Damba told Accr-based Happy FM

“Sammy is a respectable player and a integral member of the team.

“I have not even thought of it as a goalkeepers’ trainer to recommend him for transfer.

“He has demonstrated in Hearts that he is one of the respected materials at the club and  in the country.

“Even though he has not been transfer-listed, those peddling such falsehood should bow down their head in shame and stop it.

“It’s a figment of theirown imagination. Very mischevious and misleading.  The supporters should be rest assured that Sammy is with us and working hard.

Head coach David Duncan has embarked on a massive clear-out which has seen 12 players being told to look elsewhere.
