Hearts have rubbished reports claiming goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has been transfer-listed.
Adjei, 32, has falling down the perking order with reports in the local media à on Thursday suggesting the 32-year was deemed surplus to requirement.
But the clubââ¬â¢s goalkeepersââ¬â¢ trainer Abubakar Damba has moved swiftly to debunk the reports insisting the former Ashdod last line of defense remains an intergral part of the teamââ¬â¢s rebuilding exercise.
ââ¬ÅThis is news to me because Sammy Adjei has not been put on the transfer-list. Where is this news coming? I think people should put a stop to such reports,â⬠Damba told Accr-based Happy FM
ââ¬ÅSammy is a respectable player and a integral member of the team.
ââ¬ÅI have not even thought of it as a goalkeepersââ¬â¢ trainer to recommend him for transfer.
ââ¬ÅHe has demonstrated in Hearts that he is one of the respected materials at the club and à in the country.
ââ¬ÅEven though he has not been transfer-listed, those peddling such falsehood should bow down their head in shame and stop it.
ââ¬ÅItââ¬â¢s a figment of theirown imagination. Very mischevious and misleading. à The supporters should be rest assured that Sammy is with us and working hard.
Head coach David Duncan has embarked on a massive clear-out which has seen 12 players being told to look elsewhere.
