Hearts rubbish Sammy Adjei transfer-list reports

Hearts insist Sammy Adjei has not been put on the transfer-list

Hearts have rubbished reports claiming goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has been transfer-listed.

Adjei, 32, has falling down the perking order with reports in the local media  on Thursday suggesting the 32-year was deemed surplus to requirement.

But the club’s goalkeepers’ trainer Abubakar Damba has moved swiftly to debunk the reports insisting the former Ashdod last line of defense remains an intergral part of the team’s rebuilding exercise.

“This is news to me because Sammy Adjei has not been put on the transfer-list. Where is this news coming? I think people should put a stop to such reports,” Damba told Accr-based Happy FM

“Sammy is a respectable player and a integral member of the team.

“I have not even thought of it as a goalkeepers’ trainer to recommend him for transfer.

“He has demonstrated in Hearts that he is one of the respected materials at the club and  in the country.

“Even though he has not been transfer-listed, those peddling such falsehood should bow down their head in shame and stop it.

“It’s a figment of theirown imagination. Very mischevious and misleading.  The supporters should be rest assured that Sammy is with us and working hard.

Head coach David Duncan has embarked on a massive clear-out which has seen 12 players being told to look elsewhere.

HEARTS ARE FOOLS. WHY ALLOW COACH DUNCAN TO COME IN AND CLEAN HOUSE? HEARTS WERE 3RD IN THE LEAGUE LAST SEASON. THIS SEASON SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SEASON FOR HEARTS TO FIGHT FOR THE TROPHY. HEARTS PLAYED TO A DRAW AT KUMASI AGAINST KOTOKO. ARE THE PLAYERS DUNCAN WANTS TO GET RID OFF VETERANS OR OLD? MAKES NO SENSE…YOU THINK BENITEZ COULD GO TO CHELSEA AND CLEAN HOUSE? HELL NO! YOU WORK WITH WAT IS AVAILABLE..IF AKUNNOR COULD REACH 3RD PLACE WITH THE SAME GROUP OF PLAYERS LAST SEASON, THEN I DONT SEE WHY DUNCAN CANT DO BETTER OR EQUAL. AFTERALL, HE SAYS HE IS A COACH RIGHT? HEARTS, IF U ALLOW DUNCAN TO DO WAT HE IS DOING, HEARTS WILL BE REBUILDING FOR 4 DAMN YRS. MARK MY WORDS. DUNCAN IS JUST LOOKING TO EXTEND HIS COACHING CAREER AT HEARTS BCOS HE KNOWS HEARTS HAVE SHARE MONEY…

  3. KT says:

The house cleaning was began by CK and Fred Crenstil, which brought about all the troubles, because I dont understand why CK teared apart a rather strong defensive set-up for Seth Owusu and these new guys. CK needed few strikers, I dont know how he ended up releasing Bobie Ansah, Agyare and Sefa. He started the trouble. He should have been allowed to bear the brunt. The recruitment by CK had been awful.

  4. Nii says:

Hearts becareful’ Who says Sammy Adjei has finished? Besides Mahatma Otoo, he is the most precious player we have in the team. Arguably the most confident player Hearts can boast of. Indeed, when the coaches decide to bench him for Luggard what has the results been? Duncan dare not’

  5. oj says:

Pls let’s allow the coach to do what is technically good for the team but if he fails then off he is sacked.

  6. Moshie says:

Ck’s recruitment was terrible. Players who kept loosing and loosing, no achievement. Duncan is positive minded. He inherited school boys and cannot operate with school boys. I support what he is doing.
