Hearts of Oak are chasing King Faisal striker Prince Boateng, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 17-year-old caught the eye of Hearts officials after scoring against the Phobians during the first round of the last campaign.
Top officials of the Premier League giants have opened informal talks with the player to know whether he is interested in a move to Hearts before launching an official bid.
“Some Hearts of Oak officials have called Prince but their interest has been directed to the appropriate quarters,” a source close to the player has told GHANAsoccernet.com.
It is however unclear at this point whether King Faisal are willing to sell one of their star performers to their Premier League rivals.
The Kumasi-based side have just appointed a new expatriate coach and looking to regain their position as a formidable side in the Ghanaian top flight in the coming season.
