Nuru Sulley to be punished by Hearts for attacking goalkeeper Philemon McCarthy

Hearts of Oak will take disciplinary action against defender Nuru Sulley for heckling captain Philemon McCarthy.

The centre-back, furious that an amount of GH?5.00 had been deducted from his allowance for reported late, attacked the goalkeeper on the team bus after last week’s 0-0 draw with King Faisal last week

Sulley was dragged before the club’s management to explain his uncouth behavior but he failed to defend his behaviour.

Hearts will punish him for displaying high level of indiscipline.

“We have listened to him and think he did not behave well and should therefore be punished,” a Hearts management member said.

“We will communicate the sanctions to him on Monday because as a senior player he should have known better.”

Hearts will tackle AshantiGold on Wednesday in Accra in a week 22 fixture of the First Capital Plus Premier League.
