Hearts prepare bid to sign Ahmed Toure

Posted On Saturday, 4th August 2012

Ahmed Toure could sign for Hearts this season

By Patrick Akoto

Hearts of Oak have launched and audacious bid to sign striker Ahmed Toure.

The unsettled Asante Kotoko attacker wants a move away from the Porcupine Warriors after growing frustrated at the club.

The 25-year-old  claims he has been treated unfairly and pushing for an exit despite being contracted to the Premier League champions till December.

Sources say the capital-based club have enquired about his availability and are preparing a bid for his services this season.

It however remains to be seen if the Kumasi-based club will part ways with the former Africa Sports player who netted 8 times for the Kumasi-based club last season.

Hearts have seen their bid for midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei turned down by Kotoko in the past.

we kotoko wil not even sell an under 5 playa to hearts… They shudnt even try…!

  2. Dr Who says:

Hearts are a bunch of jokers. They should bring GHC 300,000 Mahatma Otoo for Ahmed Toure.whatever goes around comes around!

  3. Fresher says:

Ha ha ha! This approach can at least be termed as thoughtless and whimsical by a bunch of “COMIC RELIEVERS” and perennial “WET DREAMERS” of illusive ambitions. Kotoko would rather off-load Ahmed Toure with a cash-add-ups and other add-on incentives to a third tier club than to trade him for “SCAVENGING” Hearts of Oaks. Infact, Hearts of Oaks are oblivious to the hostile atmosphere they created when Kotoko enquired about Mahatma Otoo’s availability. Hearts of Oaks as a club, needless to say, best appears to meet the descriptions of a “SCAVENGING VULTURE” that picks off and survives on the “EXCESS WASTE and LEFTOVERS” of other clubs. Hearts of Oaks should BAAAACCCKKK OOOOORFFF!

Hearts and kotoko are now closing up to each other. This is good for football. Gone were those days when this business between these clubs will not happen. Hearts are not jokers @ Dr who..

  6. Kotokovski says:

i’m lost for words………….lets just say it wont happen for now.Toure will be starring against all other clubs for kotoko….hmmm smh

  7. KT says:

WoW. Whats wrong with Toure moving to Hearts? Just as I condemned Alhaji Akanbi’s comments when Kotoko bid for Mahatma, I condemn y’all. Aren’t you the same people who called it professionalism? Now, instead of ‘showing Hearts the way’ you are all commiting the same error, so now who leads who?. Well, just this week, Toure was declared by KK Sarpong to leave if he wants to. So Kotoko should name the price….if Hearts will pay, let Toure go. I personally don’t want Toure in Hearts because of his attitude.

  8. dr_pm says:

well that is a good business and food ball is all about football.well heart should win the FA cup and play the africa champ.then we will loan him to them..nonsense

  9. KT says:

And Fresher, please, just make your comments in an honourable manner. Just don’t give Hearts names. Don’t forget, apart from one extra league trophy, Kotoko, as it stands now doesn’t beat Hearts in anything. If I’m wrong, then maybe its the Otumfuo Cup. Or correct me….even on the continent. Nevertheless, Kotoko is still a very honourable club on the continent. Show us respect, because I personally don’t disrespect Kotoko or call them names. Fresher, lets show some maturity!!!

  10. EMMANUEL FOSU-MENSAH says:

I would be very happy if he signs for hearts.Though i’m a kotoko fan.I’m not happy with how the management and the technical staff are managing the players. The truth of the fact of the matter is that we don’t respect the players unlike in Europe.

  11. JHS says:

Oh KT, i wish i cant write like you. My highest level is JHS in 2005 and since then no one will help me to further. KT, you bi too much. Hearts has done the right thing by wanting to sign the player. Is it wrong? Man shity wanted to sign C7 and messi, is it wrong??? Let us try and be wise and stop these insults. Hearts or kotoko, we all the same.
    Good afternoon KT
