Hearts plot shock Daniel Nii Adjei, Awal Mohammed move

Hearts plan Daniel Nii Adjei coup

By Patrick Akoto

Hearts of oak have launched an audacious bid to land Asante Kotoko duo Daniel Nii Adjei and Awal Mohammed.

The former African Champions have written a formal proposal to their sworn rivals to enquire about the availability of the two players; just days after Kotoko tabled a formal bid for the services of Hearts prolific striker Mahatma Otoo.

It’s believed Hearts decision to test Kotoko’s resolve of the two experienced players is meant to rub their face on their pursuit of their star striker.

“We have written a letter to them (Kotoko) that we want Awal Mohammed and Daniel Nii Adjei,” management member Aziz Haruna Futah told Kumasi-based Fox FM

“We are the champions club of Ghana. We have won the Confederation Cup, we have won the Caf Champions League and the Super Cup.

“And that is why we want these players so that will get medal. They will not win any medal with Kotoko and so when they come to Hearts, they will get medals before they retire.

“We have money than any team in Ghana and so we can meet their asking prize.”

Adjei was crowned the Best Player of the Premier League while Mohammed was adjudged the Best Defender.

This guy is a joke. Can professionalism ever find a space in our league? I listened to Haruna on a radio station and his comments were more sentimental and emotional than factual. He feels peeved and some what insulted that Kotoko made enquiries of Mahatma Otoo. Come on this is football, We cant always let our emotions get the better of us!!! in any case, is he the one to announce such a deal? we need to grow up. Sorry if i stepped on any toes here but please, emotions have know place any more when it comes to Kotoko and Hearts issues. We have out grown that. plsss

  2. Kwabena says:

  4. Authentic daddy says:

i fink dis man is being soo sentimental. is it wrong 4 kotoko to seek mahatmas availability? his talk dis mornin was jx rubbish. 100 yrs wid natin to show . shame on e oaks.

  5. KT says:

I didn’t listen to Haruna, but I think I would agree with Quophai. Seriously, someone needs to bring in some order. I seriously feel my people are doing this to get back @ Kotoko. In as much as there is a bit of humour, Haruna, we don’t need this now. Get down to business else your ass will be hot!! Damn!!

  6. MYQUE says:

WHAT IS ALSO WRONG WITH HEARTS ALSO ENQUIRING ABOUT THE 2 PLAYERS?

  7. Fresher says:

Ha ha ha! Whimsical “JOKE” of the decade, Kotoko are ready to sell the players to H of Oaks but the players are the ones who will never change Kotoko’s jerseys for H of Oaks “PATCHY AND MANGY” jerseys, people should not forget that Daniel Nii Adjei chose Kotoko over H of Oaks when he was at “NORCHIP”. How can H of Oaks convince Kotoko players when they cannot even “PAY” the salaries and keep their own prized players. Aziz Haruna is not a stranger to these kind of “YAWNY” loose talks, as a mark of a professional club, Kotoko is “EVER” ready to sell the players if H of Oaks approach Kotoko professionally should the players want a move to H of Oaks.

  8. deonlysir says:

hahahahaa this man is not seriouse @ all. instead of u to make oak a great team, u are making mokery of it. not only kotoko wont sell it, the players themselves will not go. apart from kotoko playing in de champions league, they have good mgt, and facilities,,, comperably….. Haruna, be seriose for once to move hearts foward

  9. Andy oppong- afrifa says:

Pls u should not allow people to use ur media, to insult people.

U are like Black stars who re always allergic to progress.

  12. Chinchinga Lapaz says:

  15. kofid says:

  20. Jah Guide says:

    Cocoaasi Kruasifuor

  21. Jah Guide says:

You are now Complaining when we also want your Players
Did we Complain when you also wanted to Buy our Players besides we are two great Clubs in Ghana So what’s wrong with Purchasing each other players
Wise up and stop this Senseless things you are doing.
Even Players Play for real Madrid and then go on play for Barcelona How Much Less Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko

  22. SHINJI KAGAWA says:

The rivalry btn Kotoko and Hearts is nowhere near ACMILAN and Intermilan, even for them their players cross carpets.
@Fred,when was Hearts formed? and how long did it take to win an African cup?
When was the last time Hearts played in Africa?
What was ur record in the last that you went to Africa?
Yes Kotoko won Africa in early 80′s,and 20+ years later you won yours.
    Simple mathematics
    2000 minus1911=1 champions league
    1983 minus 1935=2 champion league’S’.

  23. Sakyi says:
