Hearts of Oak are asking for a reduction in the GHc 86,500 compensation fee to be paid to David Duncan for his unlawful contract termination as head coach.

The Phobians parted company with Duncan last November but violated a clause in their agreement.

“The first meeting was on Monday 7th July they asked for payment in installment which we agreed upon taking into consideration so many things,” Duncan’s legal counsel told MTNFootball.com

“Then the second meeting was Friday the 18th of July they came back pleading for a reduction, but we told them we could not vary decision from the status committee. They left to report to their boss and we have heard nothing from them since.”

Hearts have appointed two since sacking Duncan- with the latest being Herbert Addo who takes charge for the 2014/2014 season.
