Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are keen to land former striker Ishmael Addo to help them revive their ailing Premier League campaign, GHANAsoccernet understands.

Addo is waiting on his International Transfer Certificate to complete the switch after years of globetrotting.

Both parties have agreed terms of engagement and will be available for selection if his registration is completed.

Addo was tipped as a future world class striker for Ghana after topping the country’s scoring charts for three seasons culminating in some action for the Black Stars.

The former Ghana Premier League goal king has struggled to remain in Europe after frustrating spells with clubs in France, Israel, Greece and Cyprus.

However, he was a member of the Maccabi Tel Aviv side which played in the Uefa Champions League in the 2004/05 season.

Addo emerged top scorer at the 1999 Fifa U-17 World Cup in New Zealand.
