Hearts of Oak have reached a mutual contract termination agreement with four players including Seth Owusu, the club have confirmed.

The other players are strikers Sadat Karim and James Abban and Yussif Ahmed.

The left-back joined the Phobians from Medeama SC last season but could not a starting role under head coach David Duncan.

Karim was signed from Berekum Chelsea in the second half of the 2011/2012 but failed to glitter.

Abban, who flourished for Liberty Professionals, was a flop at the Hearts and has no place in Duncan's plans.

Hearts are expected to release more players from their contracts before they start pre-season training on 11 August.
