Hearts of Oak assistant coach resigns

Hearts of Oak assistant coach Tanko Shaibu Ibrahim has parted ways with the club, just days after the appointment of C.K Akunnor , GHANAsoccernet.com has gathered.

It was speculated that Ibrahim will not be retained and so has decided to jump before he is pushed.

He joined Hearts on the recommendation of former coach Yusif Abubakar two seasons ago deputized for dismissed Serb Nebjosa Vucicevic.

Ibrahim took temporary charge of the side during their 1-1 draw at Medeama SC last Wednesday and also sat on the bench in their 1-0 defeat to Liberty on Sunday.

Akunnor, 39, is expected to announce his deputy in the coming days.
