Hearts of Oak team manager Sabahn Quaye says the current squad is ready to compete for titles in the 2015/2015 season.
The Phobians are under a new coach and Herbert Addo is trying to build a size capable of toppling defending champions Asante Kotoko.
Hearts have not won a title since 2009 and that has been a major concern for the fans.
Losing to sworn rivals Kotoko away and drawing in Accra this month in a two-legged friendly, has cast doubt over their title credentials.
But Quaye, who is making a return to the club, says the current crop of players will meet expectations next season.
ââ¬ÅWe know what we see in the team and the signs we have observed ahead of the coming season, so we canââ¬â¢t be drawn into thinking the team is not ready for the season," Quaye told Sports Crusader.
ââ¬ÅI can confidently say that we are ready, just like any other team out there.ââ¬
ââ¬ÅBut one thing people refuse to understand is that, no team, like I said earlier on, is 100%.
ââ¬ÅEven the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus and other great team across the world, are beaten once in a while and its part of football.
ââ¬ÅWhat you do as a team when these challenges come is what matters and for us a Club, we are more than determined to make sure that we are focused.ââ¬
