Hearts of Oak will be presenting a 26-man squad to CAF for the Confederation Cup campaign by the end of Monday.

The Phobians have finalized their squad for their return to continental competition and will be forwarding the list to the Ghana FA for onward transfer to CAF on Monday according to reports.

All the new off-season signings; Mutawakilu Siedu, Abdoulaye Soulama, Shawn October, Vincent Atinga, Richard Yamoah, Kwame Kizito and Foovi Aguidi have been included in the squad.

Already existing stars; Robin Gnagne Thomas Abbey, Kofi Abanga and Gilbert Fiamenyo also feature prominently.

Hearts were presented with a chance to return to African club competition as a replacement for Inter Allies – last season’s FA Cup runner’s up – who withdraw from the competition citing inadequate resources.

The former African champions will begin their campaign in the Confederation Cup against AS Police of Benin.

Goalkeepers Soulama Abdoulaye, Tetteh Luggard, Seidu Mutawakilu

Defenders: Shaun October, Robin Gnagne, Kweku Andoh, Owusu Bempah, Phillip Boampong, Hamza Mohammed, Isaac Oduro, Abraziz Abankwa,  Vincent Atinga

Midfielders: Kofi Abanga, Thomas Abbey, Richard Yamoah, Emmanuel Hayford, Eric Kumi, Leonard Tawiah, Ollenu Ashitey, Gerald willington, Paul Acquah, Issah Mumuni

Strikers: Kwame Kizito, Foovi Aguidi, Selasie Agyei and Gilbert Fiamenyo
